Turned out to be a Rockford Drilling Machine, which was, as I understood it, sort of an offshoot of
the W.H. & J. Barnes company, Rockford having split away in about 1908 or so. Overall it was solid,
with no major repairs or modifications, and pretty complete. It had also been sitting out in the Alaskan
weather since about 1995. It had once been covered with a blue tarp, but little but a few rags remained.
