Springfield Lathe

Back in 2013, I saw a Craislist ad that said "Metal Lave. 16 inch. Spring sealed" and gave a phone number.
No photos, no further description, no nothing. Being a naturally curious sort, I gave a call, got some details (his wife
had taken the info down over the phone to put the ad up) and, being vaguely interested, got some directions and went
out to have a look. This is what I found. Turned out to be a 16" Springfield gearhead lathe sitting out in the yard.
